Fabulous food, we loved how they chargrilled the meat before adding it to their curries, the flavour was outstanding, the service was very attentive and helpful, all in a lovely atmosphere. The owner of the restaurant came to talk to us about how authentic his cooking methods are. Overall we had an amazing experience, thoroughly recommend checking Koyla out, we will definitely be going back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We went for an impromptu visit to Koyla. They were kind enough to accommodate us on our last minute request. Thanks to the Owner.Great food, balanced flavours – Biryani was my personal favourite. Flavours hit the right palate.Excellent service, friendly staff felt good when entered inside the restaurant. Neat and clean, hygienic place. Great serviceStrongly recommend. Give it a go.
From the meals we had this is probably the best Indian food in Adelaide. From the Chicken Mumtaz with no spice, the Butter Chicken, the Goat Curry through to the “hot, hot, hot” Pudina Gosht all had great depth of flavour. The menu is large including a very extensive offering of vegetarian meals. I did really enjoy the goat curry but as everything was so tasty I will force myself to have a different dish next time – the pork vindaloo? The chilli and garlic naan was also a good option which I have not seen before.
We bought a couple of kebabs when visiting the Norwood Food and Wine festival. They were tasty even if my husband did wonder if that was lamb in his dish. We didn’t get a cheese naan though which I realised after. I would go back and try the restaurant, the char grill and authenticity of the dish was nice.
Nice cozy modern place and bar looks cool. Serving sizes were decent. Flavours were there. Chicken had nice charcoal flavours on the platter. Was hoping the lamb to be the same but wasn’t. Sauce dips were good with the platter. Goat curry and butter chicken was good. Great friendly service.
